The pause that refreshes.

All has not been sweetness and light here in the Finslippy household, and I must take some time away to regroup. So you all just sit out here and play with your blocks, and Mommy will be in the back, drinking a Manhattan in one of your sippy cups.

I wish I had something witty, but coming at the end of a day in which I had to explain to one child why he could not use a knife on his toddler sister, I have nothing. Not that I couldn't relate to the kid lately, I mean, that toddler is more work than the other three put together, and that's saying something. You've made me laugh so hard that I've actually awoken people in several different houses around 2am on seperate occasions, no less.
