Happy Mother's Day!
I am filled beyond capacity with homemade pancakes and bacon. My son gave me a necklace with a pendant made, with his grandmother's help, from a surprisingly pretty rock he found on the beach. I love my family.
There's a new Wonderland up, as of Friday.
Also, Schmutzie has had some devastating news. She needs all the love the Internet has to offer.
Finally, we have a new addition to the family. Pictures will be coming, soon.

but today my eight year old WASHED AND PUT AWAY THE DISHES
I wept.
Alice, it only gets better and better.

And a happy mother's day to you!
Alice, you make me laugh the most.
Happy Mother's Day, Alice.
I love reading your blog. Oh, and I love you too. Hope you don't mind:-)
But I did get a yoga card as a prez, which for this lassie whose c-sectioned tummy has not seen one ounce of exercise in the 3 years since (nor much before) is something much needed. The problem: while engaged in my first yoga class in yonks, enjoying gentle sounds of birds atwitter and ocean waves...our sweet campy instructor interrupting with the odd gentle chiming of a bell and soft, bad poetry...my stomach growled and echoed loudly through the cavernous room. It was the yummy memory of those morning pancakes. Yes, I go to yoga, but all I can think of is food.
Moms' Day rocks. Om shanti, ladies.
