Hair update: the end!
This is the entirely natural color. There is no more artificial color in there.
It's entirely too short right this moment--I don't think the shorty-short bangs do much for my narrow face (I' m not fishing for compliments, here)--but within a couple of weeks I'll feel significantly less exposed. I'm so used to super-short hair that I don't stress too much over that naked-head sensation.
I want to grow my hair down to about shoulder-length now that I don't have to worry about hiding tell-tale roots and the like, but I actually love the color. It feels like me. Which it is. I am me!
Also I coordinate well with Charlie, now, and I think that's the most important thing, don't you?

You look fabulous!
Rebecca, it was my idea, but my stylist was supportive and awesome. Had she not been, I might have given up!
I tried this once. I looked like a calico cat....brown, red, white. Not a good look, but you inspire me to try again. My hair is short now, so maybe I can tough it out! You look gorgeous!
Alice, I think you look younger! I was wondering: how is this so? and it's just that you look so young to have greying hair (which is a lovely colour BTW) that maybe it's making you look even younger. Or are you Photoshopping out the haggard? If so, do you give classes? could use your help.
You look like Julie Andrews with darker hair! Gorgeous!!
It looks stunning but I can't believe how quick the gray came in! It seems like it was very recently that you first posted about your graying adventures and now here it is totally gray! I know a lot of that is because of the haircut too, but seriously!
Alice, I LIKE IT! You look stunning.
See, Alice? We assured you that you would be foxy when you stopped colouring your hair. And we were right. Hooray!
love it
I love it! I love the color and the cut. It looks really good on you! I too am going quite gray but have not given up the fight yet... YET..
Mine: first of all, thank you! Second, the light in this photo was especially flattering, so there's that. (Lighting is everything, after all.) Thirdly, I honestly think this hair color is more flattering to my skin tone. I have a very fair complexion (obviously) that skews cool (as opposed to warm, not as opposed to dorky) and the color I was dying it was warm, and I think it wasn't doing good things for my complexion.
I have thought a lot about this, as you can see. As I stared at myself. You'd think I didn't have enough things to do!
Again, thank you, everyone. You are all being too kind to me.
Silverfoxy! It really brings out your eyes, too.
Lookin' good, woman! I agree, your eyes look extra gorgeous!
SO soft and flattering. perfect.
These are by far the most flattering photos you've posted of yourself.
I still notice your stunning eyes the most, but your hair is lovely, too!
You look AWESOME! LOVE the cut, LOVE the color!
I LOVE IT. Seriously, it's so pretty!! I even like the shorty bangs. Sassy!
My favorite part?
How happy you look about it.
Awesome move, Alice.
You will be stunning as a shoulder length hair swinging very sexy woman.
Merry Christmas to one of the kindest, funniest, most sincere women I 've met this year.
You truly do rock my world.
I love it! I just pulled a completely white hair from the top of my head because it was sticking straight up and waving a flag and yelling at people as they passed. Now I'm thinking I should have left it.
I love it! It looks great!
Awesome! You are braver than I!
Gah, I need to do that - I am so tired & broke from the color upkeep, to be natural would be GREAT! You look beautiful!
And while you were busy navel-gazing and taking your own picture, as usual, this is what was going on over at The Bloggess.

You don't know me, as I never comment here. I only read about your hair and leg coverings from time to time, but I just had to comment today and say, holy shit you hair looks AMAZING! I can only hope that my grey comes in as beautifully. Lucky woman!
