In case you're wondering: yes, Scott's the Walter Matthau character. And when he's not fixing my clothes, he's cutting the tags hanging off me or pulling food out of my hair. Unlike the Walter Matthau character, he doesn't want me dead. I am quite lucky.

If you haven't seen A New Leaf, all I can say is: What? Oh, no. You must get right on that.

I am so excited when I see a new momversation and you are on it, because I just can't wait to see what your reaction is to the topic. My first big laugh of the morning! I cracked up at the nightgown scene. My husband is also good at keeping me groomed and presentable. Last week my fly was down in a restaurant...and I always, always have food on my shirt. It is a trait I attribute to my tendency to live inside my head. What? My fly is down? Oh! Wow. Yeah, I had a similar problem WITH MY GOD DAMN WEDDING DRESS ON MY WEDDING DAY. Dress not as strange - but the toga meets nightgown situation I had going on proved more complicated than anticipated.
